So this is new...

I have no idea if i'll keep up with this whole thing but I thought i'd give it a shot...it will be full of mistake aka lots of these ... and usually not the correct capitalization or punctuation :) Lots of those too :D

I have just returned from vacation and let me tell you...going back to work sucks!!!

I was in Chicago for 5 days with someone that is probably at this point my best friend...we hang out all the time...we pretty much do almost everything together...

Lollapalooza was the reason for the trip...or should i say Pearl Jam was the reason...Lollapalooza was the excuse to see them and go out of town :) The weekend was fantastic although felt very short...I wish (as does he) that we'd stayed an extra day rather than having to rush through everything that we wanted to see when we were there...

I have tons of pictures...mostly though of the zoo from the first day we were there...saw tons of animals and it was SOOO hot and humid I wondered if we'd make it through the weekend like this...

We did luckily...it even happened to rain when it was a completely blue sky...aside from the foreigners to the place no one really seemed surprised by this...i'm sorry but i'm used to seeing rain fall out of a big cloud that looks like it is about to burst...

Brought home, 2 t-shirts, a pair of shorts, a toy from the Museum of Science and Industry and quite a few other things...

The topper for the whole weekend was the intimate Pearl Jam fan club concert that only allowed 1400 people to go and see them...i was one of them of course although I am not the big fan...the best friend is but believe me...i'm not complaining that i got to go, it was amazing to see so many avid fans in such a small place screaming their lungs out to every song :)

All in all the weekend was a complete blast :)
